My favourite exotic fruits
mangousteen 💚💚💚 |
Warning: too much fruits and vegetables cause: Health!
Mangousteen
delicious, flesh texture similar to lychee, soft, slightly sweet and juicy with acidic notes
Benefits
rich in vitamin C and B, as well as antioxidants (xanthone, flavonoid and catechin), gives a healthy skin by protecting it from damage caused by free radicals.
Coconut
love fresh coconut, its water (rich in potassium) and its delicious soft and sweet meat
Benefits: contains protein and fibre, and many essential minerals (iron, manganese, copper...).

Rambutan
really recognisable by its hairy red appearance with yellow, and green shades; soft jelly-like texture, a little chewy, sweet and juicy, similar to lychee too; the only annoyance, sometimes some pieces of the skin of its seed come with the flesh.
Benefits
rich in fibre, vitamin C, flavonoids (powerful antioxidant agents) and contains vitamins and minerals.
Recommendation: due its high sugar content, it's best to eat only 5-6 per day.

Jackfruit
love its texture (dense, fibrous and chewy) and taste, really good with its sweet scent.
Benefits
offers many antioxidants and nutrients including fibre; its fruits a good source of vitamin C and its seeds a source of protein and vitamin B2; also known as "poor man's fruit" of India, because of large production and widely used by economically weaker sections; and it is a relatively inexpensive, widely available nutritious.

I also like Longan, a little too sweet, same like lychee, has the highest sugar content, so avoid excessive consumption.
