Strawberry tart

Strawberies are the only fruit with seeds on the outside
Strawberries are rich in phytochemicals and antioxidants (like anthocyanins, ellagic acid, and Vitamin C) that help combat inflammation
Ingredients
500-700 g strawberries, cut in half lengthwise (no cooking)
=> that's it, with only fresh strawberries, no pastry cream (we don't like it)
=> those who want can enjoy it with ice cream
Method
1. Preheat according to the oven directions.
Mine for baking pies: 240° C with the rack in the bottom.
2. Place the shortcrust pastry in a tart tin and prick the base of the pastry with a fork to ensure even baking). Leave it to rest in the fridge for just 5 mins (enough) to have a very crispy dough.
3. Blind-bake it (for example with baking beans) before adding the filling.
4. Remove the pastry and let cool on a wire rack.
5. Arrange the halved strawberries in a pretty design or as desired.
Serve with vegan vanilla cream if desire, or with jam sauce (combine jam and water in a sauce pan over low heat to create a glaze)
