ZEN moment
The true purpose [of Zen] is to see things as they are, to observe things as they are, and to let everything go as it goes - Shunryu Suzuki
A moment of rest and relaxation: 30 mins or less to catch our breath, a simple and effective way to take a break during the day.
It's purely about relaxation and nothing else: snuggling up in our cozy bed with a book or in our favourite armchair, or simply sitting and relaxing while sipping our favourite drink...

Crocheting
Doing yoga or putting my legs up against the wall, lying flat on my back and/or doing breathing exercises
Reading: my current favourite book or interesting articles I have collected and saved (paper or digital)
Meditating, even for just 1 min with One-Moment Meditation => it's even too short, 2 mins is better, enough time to get into a pose and find a "comfortable" position, or even "Meditation for Lazy People" (soon be published)
DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! 😍
Observing insects: bees, bumblebees, ants, wasps, garden bugs (brown, red with black stripes, green)...

Picking from my "comfort drawer" (just creating it, is already exhilarating)
Stretching
Taking care, watering a plant: pruning/removing dead leaves
Stretching legs and getting some fresh air with a brisk walk in the neighborhood or the nearby park: breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the scenery, trees, plants, flowers, birds, insects...
Applying a hydrating face mask
Leg care (dry brushing)
Hand care
Foot care
Nail care

Setting a goal: booking a getaway, signing up for a class, doing something creative... => then if needed, breaking down larger goals into smaller, manageable tasks (looking for destination ideas, checking flight schedules / (trains...)
Preparing a delicious hot chocolate (winter) or a refreshing homemade juice (summer) and savoring it slowly, with or without a book or movie

* Beware of dark chocolate, the high heavy metal content: research has found that dark chocolate bars had exceeded acceptable levels of lead, and 35% exceeded cadmium levels
The best solution is to try and establish a wellness ritual: relax and get enough good sleep, ideally earlier, especially before midnight, drink plenty of water throughout the day, and eat lots of fruits and vegetables...
