Travel ritual: SPA at hotels

Enzymatic pumpkin scrub traditional Khmer recipes
Cambodian traditional herbs, spices and rices

Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live in - Jim Rohn

I only do SPA treatments at hotels when travelling.
From time to time, I love the me time, especially, body treatments.

SPA

The last one I received was exactly last year in February the 2nd at 6 pm.  I choose a 55 mins Enzymatic pumpkin scrub, followed by a moisturizing cream and finished with a luxurious head massage.

There were also
  • Aromatic salt scrub
  • Avocado body scrub
  • Tropical mango scrub
  • Natural rice scrub
The Enzymatic pumpkin scrub stimulates circulation and soften skin with Khmer traditional recipes. The enzymes in pumpkin pump, combined with black sticky rice powder, help to dissolve dull and dead skin cells, reveal healthy, radiant skin underneath. This treatment aim to purity the skin and relax the mind.
Ingredients: Pumpkin seeds and pulp, Cambodian black sticky rice, coconut cream and olive oil.

Brushing

The treatment should start with a dry brushing but it was skipped; never mind because brushing and scrubbing at the same time, not a good idea for a very thin skin.  By the way, the beauty therapist advised me against salt scrub for my skin, I have already knew that.

Scrubbing

After scrubbing, a 15 mins break before rinsing.

Rinsing

A good warm shower to remove any residue.

Moisturizing

With natural vaseline but I don't like it.  So, next time,  I will skip it because I really don't like the odour.  That's why, the rooms and all the towels smelt a little rancid too.

I just regret not being able to arrange for a foot reflexology session because there was an excellent masseuse with great skills. And they are all very friendly.
Haemon Spa is really a great beauty therapy spa, one of my favourites!
