Palm oil-free soap

Usually, my favourite soaps are those without palm oil like Aleppo Soap, Castile soap, and in recent years French Savon de Marseille (just discovred around 2019 that it no longer contains palm oil!).  Hard to find Castile soap, so I use Aleppo Soap and Savon de Marseille.

Minimalist multi-purpose cleaners

These soaps are one of my favourite multi-purpose cleaners, on all surface; organic, eco-friendly, sustainable, effective and very economical:
  • deodorise and repel moths in cupboards
  • to make homemade laundry detergent
  • to mak homemade shower gel or shampoo
  • to make dish soap
  • to make hand sanitizer
  • to make face mask with Aleppo soap (leave on for 1 minute then rinse with clean water)
  • to wash dishes
  • to wash clothes
  • to brush teeth
  • to clean cuts and wounds
  • to clean coins
  • to clean makeup brushes
  • to clean the entire house and all objects
  • to remove makeup
  • to wash from head to toe

Travel ritual: my large suitcase

my large suitcase "Just in case" is the curse of packing - Alexandra Potter International baggage rules Always check with the airline before travelling, how many and what size bags I can take, and to know whether they add any special restrictions. International flights varies among airlines and depends on the class of travel.  Generally, passengers are permitted to carry 1 piece of hand luggage and 1 small item (handbag, laptop) on board. Veggie pasta bake

a hint of garlic and a generous vegan cheese There's always room for pasta   One of my favourite pasta dishes, ideally with veggie in ratatouille. Ingredients , 2-3 servings 150 g organic pasta, cooked (or leftover pasta) 3 ladles of ratatouille * 7 vegan melting cheese slices Method Pre-heat the oven for baking (mine is 240C/Fan). Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and add to a large baking dish. Spread the ratatouille evenly over pasta. Top with cheese and bake for 15-20 min until golden.
